Our dentist, Dr. Brad A. Walker, may suggest a dental crown in cases where a simple filling isn’t sufficient to restore the integrity of your tooth. Dental crowns restore and stabilize teeth that are broken or decayed or where added support and strength for a tooth is needed.
Dental crowns are typically placed in two simple appointment visits to our office. At the first, we will remove decay and prepare the tooth for the crown, taking measurements and making a model that will be used to create your permanent crown. This will be made in between appointments, and you will be given a temporary crown until you can come in and get your permanent one placed.
